Summer Camp!
This was the first year we sent our kids to camp! They all left on a Sunday afternoon, and we didn't pick them up until Friday evening! It was amazing for

Baseball Man was very apprehensive about his first week away at camp... |

But seeing as this photo was taken by the camp 2 hours later, I'd say he got over it quick! |
Ballerina and Baseball Man got to spend the week climbing trees, ziplining, swimming, and playing Ga-Ga. They also had a week of learning how to deal with mean kids their age...something we are SO GLAD we don't have to deal with on a daily basis in school. It was a great learning opportunity for them, and they can't wait to go again next year.
Storyteller had a fabulous week as well, but she got to spend her week riding and jumping horses. She was in the top group of girls, since she has been taking riding lessons for 2 years now. We got to see a mini show on Friday afternoon where she got to show off her new jumping skills. You couldn't have wiped that smile off her face if you scrubbed it!
The week was FILLED to the brim with learning...learning new activities and skills, sure, but also learning how to be away from me. My two littles still have a tough time being away from home, so it was so great for them to have such success! Baseball Man called me Wednesday afternoon, telling me that he thought about calling to come home the day before, but he pushed through and decided to stay, and was so glad he did! How great was that!?
