Ballerina's Spring Dance Show
This year was Ballerina's first dance show in about 4 years! I finally convinced her to get back into dance. If anyone could grow up to be a dancer, it's her. She now goes to a wonderful Christian dance school...which is so nice because now there's no nasty costumes and butt shaking for my little girl! That is what caused both of my girls to lose interest in dance when they were younger. Truly sad!
This dance company is a pre-professional program, meaning that this is the real deal! She could go all the way here if she wants! Their dance company uses the Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabus, and every week she has one class that works on the upcoming show performance, and one class that works on ballet technique. Next year she will be adding several classes in addition to her ballet classes and we can't wait!
This year's show was written and directed by her ballet teacher. It was a whole production that told a story about God's Redemptive Love and it was fantastic!
Ballerina got to play an orphan child (she wanted to be one of the boys, since she thought their costumes were cuter) and while she only performed one dance, it was the dance with the funnest music in the whole show!
